This course involves reading of lots of different types of texts: books, short stories, plays etc. We will also use films and other visual media to make new connections with the literature we read. What is your relationship with the written word? Do you like to read? What is your favorite book? Why? If you don't like to read (and its perfectly ok to say you don't), Why? What has shaped your relationship with literature? How can we work together to improve your relationship with the written word?
